Apply for a Marriage License
You may visit the Town Clerk’s Office to apply for a marriage license 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Please call the Office for further information prior to your visit. Call 207-646-2882.
Fees
It is $15 for the first certified copy and $6 for each additional certified copy of the same record, ordered at the same time. Make checks payable to the Town of Wells. Please do not send cash in the mail.

Local Transportation
The Wells Transportation Center is located on Rt. 109 by Exit 19 of the Maine Turnpike. It accommodates passenger trains, buses, vans, taxis, trolleys, and bicycles. It includes a handicap accessible train platform and 1,600 square foot building to accommodate ticketing and traveler services.

Parking Fees
Fees for parking at the beach lots, other than for Seasonal Passes, will be collected at the lots using the new Pay and Display Meters.
